Welding courses

The duration of the basic course is 5 days. The graduate receives a welder’s ID card, valid for 2 years. The Welder ID card is included in the course price.

The duration of the course according to STN EN ISO 9606 is 15 days. The graduate receives a certificate from TÜV Rheinland, also recognised abroad, valid for 3 years. The certificate is included in the course price.

Method 141 (other designations TIG, WIG)

In this method, a tungsten electrode and an inert gas (usually argon), which protects the tungsten electrode and weld bath from oxidation are used to form a weld. This method allows high quality welds to be made even on thin metallic materials such as steels, stainless steels, aluminium, copper and others. It is most commonly used in the food industry, energy industry, and for joining lightweight structures.

Method 111 (electric arc welding, other designation MMA)

In this method, a coated electrode composed of a metal core and a cladding is used to form the weld. This method is used for welding metal structures, pipes of smaller and larger thicknesses and dimensions - for example, pipe routes, building and supporting structures.

Method 135, 136 (other designation MIG,MAG)

In this method, a fusion electrode (wire or tubular electrode) is used to form the weld, which is fed into the weld by a feeding device with active or inert gas (mixture of gases) protection of the weld bath against oxidation of the weld metal. This method is most commonly used for welding structural steel but also other metals and for joining pipes.

Flame cutting 311-2 (other designation D-G2)

This method is used for cutting metallic material containing carbon. For this process a mixture of gases is required most often (oxygen + acetylene, oxygen + propane butane). The gas mixture is ignited with a torch to produce a high temperature flame (700 - 900 °C). The flame is used to melt the surface of the metal. By introducing a larger flow of oxygen into the torch, we blow out the molten weld metal to achieve material separation. Use in mechanical engineering.
Course duration 2,5 days price: 170€ 149€

Plasma cutting 83 (other designation D-E4)

This method is used for cutting metallic materials. For this process, a plasma cutting device is required, which is powered by an electric current (creating an electric arc) and compressed air (gas, gas mixture) of a prescribed pressure, which is blown into the gun. Once the surface of the metal has been melted, we introduce the compressed gas into the gun, which begins to blow the molten metal by pressure, thus achieving the separation of the material. Use in engineering.
Course duration 2,5 days price: 170€ 149€
